Merry Christmas everyone! We’re here in our Christmas finery – anticipating the mulled wine, listening to the carols and staying snugged up. Have a fabulous holiday and dream dreams of which bits of Odd Molly, Sandwich, Noa Noa and the gang you’re going to splurge your Christmas money on.
What ever you do, have a lovely time!
See you soon

The days are still getting shorter and the temperature is dropping. Christmas is almost here and I am dreaming of snowflakes falling. I am feeling cold. It is time to wrap up warm which is why I have no problem justifying my woolly purchases as of late. Surely it is important that I am not getting cold? The French Connection chunky cable knit cardigan, £130, is the perfect chunky cardi to throw on for the schoolrun. It is warm and snug, yet stylish enough to make sure I don’t look too mumsy.
Loving a bit of colour for daytime. Whether I am shopping, working or generally busying around, the Odd Molly lovely knit cardigan is by far my favourite. The ski pattern makes me feel at home and the bow adds a nice detail. Love the shape and the thickness. Definitely a winner.
Dress like Claudia Winkleman in the French Connection grey faux fur trim sweater. Add black skinny trousers and heeled boots to re-create Claudia’s look or opt for comfy sweatpants which is a big trend this season.
For a snug evening with a glass of mulled wine, the choice is great. Saint Tropez has several cosy knits for around £50 which comes in different colours or go for the sleeveless chunky knit in teal, plum & cream by Sandwich which works well layered over a longsleeve tee.
For your ulitmate luxe knit there is nothing softer and warmer than cashmere. Choose a Caroloine wrap, a Farhi cardigan or the pink faux fur collar cashmere cardigan by Marilyn Moore.

We’re all getting very excited about our Christmas party this evening (and not just because of the free champagne!) but because we’re stepping out of our normal black uniform and into sparkly heels and gorgeous dresses. For those who haven’t had your Christmas do’s yet and are starting to panic about what to wear, here are a few of my favourite party outfits;
1. Pewter grey sequin skirt, £60 by Soaked in Luxury. Wear this high-waisted with a black shine jersey tee, £49 by Michael Stars. And if you want to add a bit more sparkle to an already dazzling outfit try the diamante plaited choker, £26 by Majique jewellery.
2. Royal blue silk mix dress, £155 by Out of Xile. Turn it into that “stop and stare” outfit (for all the right reasons) by teaming it with the Black tuxedo jacket, £115 by Soaked in Luxury and the Diamante teardrop necklace, £28 by Majique jewellery.
3. Ice-blue, flaunt wrap dress, £176 by Avoca. For those of you who aren’t too keen on wearing just a dress in these wintry evenings, or maybe you just want something a bit edgier, try layering it with the grey wide leg trousers, £115 by Out of Xile.
And if you want that perfect cover up when you’re dashing from the restaurant to the cocktail bar just pop on the dark grey twinkle coat, £199 by Avoca.
Have fun! Alex

It is inevitable. There is no way a girl can go Christmas shopping without ending up with a few treats for herself in the bag! The temptation is all too much to resist. Don’t get me wrong, I am not just thinking of myself. Giving to the nearest and dearest is nothing but pleasure and I love seeing the eyes light up on my children’s little faces as they eagerly unwrap their presents.
However, a girl’s got to do what a girl’s got to do! Nothing wrong with a treat for yourself as you are running around doing all Christmas chores over the next couple of weeks. And don’t you just love the offers in shops at the moment… buy a pint of milk and get a big box of chocolate for FREE… or buy a pair of sparkly shoes for your daughter and get a nice, shiny black puffer jacket from Sandwich Clothing for FREE!??
These are the two latest promotions I couldn’t resist the other day. My husband couldn’t believe it!?! Hm…
As a result I am now the proud and very warm owner of this fab black jacket by Sandwich Clothing. It looks great and feels even better. The shiny fabric and the belted style gives it a cool look and I feel fantastic. At £161 it isn’t cheap but it is worth every penny and actually looks more expensive than it is.
Merry Christmas to all!

A funky take on the lariat that can be worn knotted or loosely draped around the neck
These pieces also make the perfect Christmas present. They won’t break the bank, but just you watch that million dollar smile appear as the parcel is unwrapped – priceless!

Rainy… Dark… Rainy… Dark. This seems to be the pattern of the last three weeks. So much so that I’ve abandoned my classic black uniform in favour of some bright, festive splashes to lift my mood and keep me smiling. So here you go… my top three festive colour splash pieces.
1. Red Cowlneck Sweater Dress, £74 by Sandwich
I loved this piece so much that I just had to have it. Soft comfortable jersey in the most flattering cut. The fab cowl neck keeps it snuggly and the bold red colour brings a smile to everyone’s lips, not least mine when I’m wearing it. It looks great during the day with opaques and boots or ballet pumps, but is really easy to dress up for an evening with some killer heels and on oversized clutch bag like the beautiful one from French Connection.
2. Pink Cashmere Jumper, £179 by Marilyn Moore
Pure winter indulgence in sherbet pink. This is a classic piece that will lift you mood any day, and Marilyn Moore cashmere is super soft and utterly scrumptious to wear. Pair with boots and jeans for an easy Christmas-shopping look, or try with a fab pencil skirt like the one from European Culture, and any statement necklace from our Majique range for lunch out with the girls.
3. Royal Blue Silk-mix Dress, £155 by Out Of Xile
The new LBD (little black dress) is the LBD (little blue dress!). This jersey and silk-mix creation in jewel blue is a gorgeous alternative evening look. And the shape is to die for – I’m a huge fan of Out Of Xile’s tailoring and their pieces remain in the ‘regular wear’ section of my wardrobe for years.
Go for a bit of colour and have some fun!
See you soon,

I never thought I say this but I am having a black moment… as suppose to my daily blond moments! Having gone through the last few months with a complete crush on colours with grey as my favourite basic shade, I am now craving black and classic elegance for the party-season. Nothing beats a little black dress. It simply works every time and save you from nightmare clothing dilemmas and running the risk of wearing the wrong clothes. A little black dress is a winner every time.
My top 3 favourite LBD’s:
1. Soaked in Luxury Cutedress, £69. Simply gorgeous! The shape is great and I love the exposed zip at the back and the faux-pockets on the front to add modern trends to a classic dress. The short sleeves are just the right length and covers enough to feel dressed without having to wear a cardigan or jacket. Love, love, love…
2. Sandwich Clothing jersey dress, £78. A great mixture of comfort and style. Love the ruche and pintuck details on the front and the narrow long sleeves. The perfect dress to give your work-wear wardrobe a stylish update once the party-season is over.
3. European Culture puff shoulder tunic, £107. Is it a top or a tunic or a dress? Well, it is what you want it to be and it is all about how you wear it. If you are feeling brave, then wear it as a dress with black opaque tights. Swap the tie belt for a sparkly one if you want to. I love the big ruched puff sleeves and shoulders. So very now and so right for adding and edge to classic elegance.
See you at the party! Malin x
