So new season usually brings with it NEW labels and this week sees the first of our new label 0039 Italy and it is simply gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
If you’re wanting to inject some cosmopolitan style into your wardrobe and you love classic pieces re-worked to give a contemporary feel then you definitely need to lust after this label.
We have all fallen head first into a fashion crush for the Duck-Egg Lisett blouse and the Gracy dress but as you can see all pieces so far are fab-u-lous!

Oh and ladies make sure you visit our New In to see what we’ve just added with pieces from Goat, Minkpink and Caroline oozing spring styling vibes you’ll definitely be whipping out your canvas pumps and shades in no time-ah I can smell the blossoms…almost : )

So chatter amongst us Getmyfashion girlies ranges from ‘what we’re loving in Vogues recent spring issue’ (edible to say the least!) and ‘what the latest superfood we’re scoffing’ (heard on the grapevine its blueberries) and at the complete opposite end of the scale ‘what naughty treat we’re allowed this weekend (Rose macaroons yum!)
So obviously with all this healthy living chat (not accounting for the rose macaroon!) the conversation naturally falls to exercise and what we’re all trying, loving, hating or learning.
We’ve all be quite the Getmyfashion go-getters for quite a while now what with Malin and her running, Gosia loves Spinning, Angela enjoys Pilates and I’m into Thai boxing- quite a varied bunch you might say and what with all the January fitness bunnies coming out we’re looking for what the new craze is-what gets you girls going?
I’m personally aiming to do a race this year-I imagine nothing beats that feel good factor of achievement so bring it on!
Let us know what you girls are getting involved in this year or even what you’re looking to getting involved in-its great to hear what you girls get up to when you’re not browsing our New In ; )

Just like Lauren, I am going through the annual new year-new me restart process and everything gets an overhaul…well, at least it is all on my list to do although only a few pointers ticked so far. I am slowly cutting back on that lovely glass of wine at the end of the day, Christmas-chocolates still lurking in the cupboard are down to a minimum, the over xmas monthly exercise is almost back to the pre-xmas daily venture. However, the extra ounces around the waistline still there (still un-ticked) and wardrobe clear-out is far from ticked yet.
It is a funny time of the year which goes from full-on spring in the air one day to miserable, wet & windy autumn-weather the next. I am therefore still enjoying my woolly jumpers, my knit dresses and other buys from the season we have just left behind. And how can we be sure that there isn’t going to be another cold-snap before we can fully enjoy spring???
SO… despite a new year, it is not a bad thing to hunt for a sale-bargain. Many pieces are trans-seasonal and will see you through to summer. Pick the right pieces and they will even be good for next winter.
My top five get-it-before-it-goes pieces are as follows;

Details from left; Grey & cream tie shrug cardigan £48 by Yaya, Salt & Pepper Boyfriend Cardigan £78 by Part Two, Pink Dree cardigan £48 by Avoca, Black Harriet Jersey ruched dress £34 by Great Plains, Grey curtain call dress £48 by Avoca

New season…it’s like a breath of fresh air isn’t it?
Now as January and Feb are those quieter months where you’re essentially recovering from Christmas & New year and settling back into the swing of things this is THE perfect time to get ready for new season styling.
All the mags & trend reports (fashion bibles!) are out, you’re probably tired of (dare we say it…black!) and also feeling a bit BLAH so it really is time to start making room for pale wash colour collections-think of Rainbow drops and Bon-Bon sweets from your childhood. Deco details, Fifties USA (we heart Prada’s heart print already!) Blooming Blooms vs Sport Revolution, Africana & Heritage Paisley.
NOW we know that all sounds a bit much to take in so girls I’ve got my “Stepping into Spring” list ready below. So slip out of those Onesies, switch those slippers for some mega mules, put your hair in a pony & get ready.
1) You’ve probably got some lovely new bits from Christmas and you are sure to be getting some even newer bits for Spring so what better time to for a clearout. WAIT! Don’t go clearout crazy and throw everything. Be precise. Have you worn it in the last six months? Is ticking any of this seasons trend list? (refer to your fashion bible) if your answer is “no” bag it up.
2) Be Sale Savvy. Despite it being a winter sale you can almost definitely find things in the sale now that can be fashion forward come spring. For example from us we have:

Girlish embroidery? Yes
Satin? Yes
Soft spring shade? Yes
3) Set aside scissor time. A new year, a new season a new haircut! You’ll feel instantly fab and with being sale savvy those pennies saved can go towards your hair therapy!
4) Make your look work for you. Pick out your favourite looks from the runway and adapt them for you. Loving that flower power peplum dress but cant quite do the school run in it? Pick a pretty flowerbud print girlish dress. Flirt with fifties and team a printed blouse with pedal pusher denim and insert Africana inspiration into your accessories.
So let’s get spring ready girls-its waiting for us!
